Multifamily Insiders recently conducted a survey where we examined resident renewal strategies. Our survey asked responders to answer the following question: “If you had free reign, how would you improve the retention and renewal process?” Below are the actual responses, only slightly edited for readability and some duplication.

Renewing a resident is never as easy as simply asking them to stay. Therefore, we are examining what strategies work best to renew residents year after year. This survey helps find out what your competitors are doing to effectively renew their residents at even higher rents!

Resident's are able to choose from the list upon their renewal. Depending on what type of lease they decide to renew for, determines what is available. Resident's love it.
