I've been asked to put together a form to give a contractor when they come to get an apartment rent ready. A way to list everything we want done. Does anyone have one to share? This would be a big help!
I guess you can prepare it with the following:
Apartment needs to be aesthetically looking good. ie patching the walls, filling any holes, replacing broken parts and finally painted completely.
If furnished, all appliances need to work properly, Fridge, Stove, AC/Heather, Garbage disposal.
If carpet on the floor, needs to be shampooed or replaced.
If wood floor it needs to be checked for damages, fixed and clean thoroughly.
Front door needs to be painted both sides, for a good impression on prospects.
Drain needs to work properly, check and make sure water runs down normal.
Make sure toilet seat is in good shape and looks clean.
Check all the lights make sure switches, wall outlets, light bulbs and covers are clean and work properly.
A complete detail cleaning to finish and have the unit ready for viewing.
I guess you can put your list together with the above.
