So today Ann Romney will be next door campaigning for her husband. I know there has to be a marketing opportunity in there somewhere. Any suggestions?

Yup....yard signs for your property around. Also small American flags with your property information tied to them. Give those to everyone you see on the street. Consider having a refreshment table outside your property for those waiting in line.

You might have Information on Registering to Vote with ink pens attached with your community's name printed on it, too, to offer those gathering or passing by. You might want to offer Popcorn in plain brown paper lunch bags with cute card Labels attached to pass out to people. You might also want to set up a Photo Op with a cut out of Ann & Mitt people can "pose" with with balloons attached with your property name ....

Political affiliations can cause applicants to be less enthusiastic about rentals. Maybe avoid the partisan look of endorsing a candidate and stick to the idea of marketing the property itself?
