Just wondering if anyone has a great Welcome Letter for new residents.

Would love to hear some examples as well!

Also - what are you guys doing for new tenant gifts? Anything?

For Welcome Gifts I'd been including the toilet plunger with a roll of beautifully wrapped toilet paper and 'welcome' card ordered from WHA, inc.

I'm going to change that up a bit, however, because I've discovered those toilet plungers aren't practical...they don't work well at all. So wrapped toilet paper yes but toilet plunger, no, not unless it actually works well!

Another gift we do are logo cups. I've heard positive feedback regarding the plastic cups (filled with fruit snacks) because they provided a way to have that drink of water while the regular glasses were still boxed up...something that made the move-in process easier...a good thing!

We don't have a welcome letter, but we do have a nice personalized binder cover (yes, we still give all the hard copies at move-in...paper wasters!). Our move-in gifts are great. We have used the small compost buckets that we get from the Salvage company for free and in it we put some compost liner bags, an energy efficient light bulb, water bottle and tote bag. I realize this move-in gift won't work for all properties, but we get a lot of great feedback from our residents.
