Iam tired of the apartment I live in and I owe money some of my ideas have not went as planned the money I have is all I have I don't have a job and my boyfriend is having a hard time we are both student s but we are not in school this seminar because of stress and we have a child what do we do
Talk to your property manager IMMEDIATELY. Although they cannot circumvent the lease, they may be willing to work with you. At the end of the day, the debt is yours and you will have to step up and make it good (when you can) or it will follow you. I have had residents end up in the same boat and I always appreciate them telling me their situation BEFORE the 12th hour. It's always good to have positive rental history, try not to burn any bridges. Good Luck!
PS- It doesn't cost anything to leave the apartment SPOTLESS when you do move out.... Don't leave them with a mess on top of a debt.
