Hi All,

I manage a large property of 1150 units and am restructuring staffing. If you have 400 or more units, can you share how many staff (and name what positions) you have as well as the number of units? Thanks!

There are some variables that would affect my answer (age of the building; garden style or hi-rise, etc), but I have found that typically an overall staff ratio of 1 employee per 45 units is close to true needs. These same variables will impact the structure of the staff, but 50% "office" and 50% "maintenance" is usually close.
