Renter's Insurance

I wanted to get some feedback on renter's insurance captives vs going with 3rd party company like Effective Coverage or First American.
I feel that more companies are turning to captives but wanted to know about the implementation process and maintenance once the program is set up.

Jill, here are some links if you have not been to them, that may assist you:
www.artexrisk.com/media/10724/Captive-Basics.pdf
www.forbes.com/sites/jayadkisson/2014/02...legacy-in-tax-court/
I think they may have in them what you are/may be looking for. What is good for one community, may not for another. So, I guess it is knowing the needs first and then the options as to which will be the best route. Did that sound logical?
