Hoping for some insight or direction on this. Does anyone have any helpful tips on policy and procedure for doing tours via FaceTime/Skype? I'm actually surprised it hasn't been brought up by any of our onsite staff yet.

I like the idea of doing FaceTime or Skype tours for out of town prospects. I have done YouTube videos to send which was well received, but doing a live tour would be beneficial in that you would be able to answer questions and address concerns immediately. I'm going to give that a try!

I've been offering them for several years. I have carried my laptop around the model and the community. Not many people in my customer pool seem to use it.

It's really great for relocating employees.

I'll bet if you advertise it, people would love it. They seem to forget they have it.

Try: "Instead of stopping by on your lunch hour, Skype or Facetime me and I'll give you a tour."

Wow, that sounds like a great idea. I'm going to suggest that to my leasing team.

I love this idea. My property gets a lot of student traffic, and often they want their parents to be part of the process. Even the offer would be helpful to give the parents the option to "tour" with their students, and offer both peace of mind!

Myself and my team have been trying this out for a few months and have had a 60% closing ratio. It's better than a youtube because you can share the personality and answer questions immediately.

Even for prospects that live in town, they can take the tour while on lunch break and never have to leave their office. Get them excited and they can finish up the process on the weekend.
