We need some 3 bedroom ideas for how to attract more clients. I'm in Hackensack NJ, 20 minutes from Manhattan. We took over the high rise in late August and nothing was being rented in our building. I have 4 vacant 3 bedrooms and one coming up. All others are rented as soon as we can turn them. We know that most families won't move until school gets out. I have my LC visiting our comps in attempts to get referrals form those they cannot help. College fairs are going to help us now. We are next to a major university medical center and we do get those students. What other suggestions can you give me! Thanks everyone!!!
Put in some temporary model furniture, place ads on Craigslist for 3/2's. Set up preferred employers and have them put flyers in their vendor and payroll envelopes. Set up a roommate matching service. Provide free cable for six months, provide short haul moving services, set up a corporate/ guest unit.
Hi Peggy! I don't know if this is an option or something to consider, but I am wondering whether or not you should investigate marketing to the Manhattan area? I know there is most likely trains that run from your neck of the woods to New York, so perhaps advertising on the platforms, or in the trains themselves could eventually produce new Prospects? I would think that some of the students in Manhattan would love all the extra room in a 3-bedroom as opposed to those tiny places they all share. (But I would not get in the business of roommate matching if you can help it.)
