I would like to get an idea of how much a typical "Resident Meet n Greet event could cost? I understand that budgets vary on food/vendors/number of residents, etc. HOwever, I'm not looking for an exact number nor for any particular number of residents. I would like to get an idea of how much a typical "Resident Meet n Greet event could cost?

This would be very helpful for just getting an idea of ranges based on the number of residents you have from 100-300?

Thanks much for any help :)

Hi Amity!
I would love to give you some sort of ballpark figure, but it really depends on too many factors. For example, food will be your biggest expense, so are you offering food or not? If you are, are you cooking it yourself or getting it catered?

Several years ago, we created some resources to help with planning an event. I hope these help!

Amity, I agree that there are quite a few factors, but to give you an idea of what we do....Our resident events range from snacks and pop, to full catered meals and all types of beverages. We also have prizes available at all of them. The price ranges from $200 to about $1500 per event. These events usually draw in about 100-125 residents. We are hosting Tailgate Parties at our communities and we've done grilled hot dogs and sides, to fully catered meals including pulled pork and chicken wings. This varies based upon the community and other factors. We try to be uniformed as much as possible between our communities, but we realize that there are differences also and will cater to those difference. Lastly, we also host Red Cross Blood Drives at one of our locations (the clubhouse size needs to be large enough to handle these), and we give away door prizes even for those! These have been a huge success and a great way to get non-residents in the door. I hope this helps.
