Is there still the rule 2 people per room? Or does it apply with children under the age of 2 or over the age of 2? I need to know ASAP please!

Hi Melissa,
I do not know the rules for MN. There are some changes that deal with rooms that are "exceptionally large", although HUD does not define what that is. We actually just had an event yesterday on that topic! I recommend if this is a concern that you check it out: www.multifamilyinsiders.com/shop-multifa...te-burning-questions

Not that I am aware of BUT, it is my understanding that, if you follow the rule of 2 persons per bedroom plus an additional person for the entire apartment, you will avoid discrimination complaints from being pursued by the DFEH or HUD or other agencies.
So, a 1BR max of 3, 2BR max of 5, 3BR max of 7, etc. is a good way to set a maximum # of persons policy
