This is my absolute favorite time of the year to shop for model updates and mini-model pieces. Why? Dorm season! Stores are full of punchy and unique accent pieces and inexpensive seating that can make a show unit memorable. EVEN BETTER: it's all starting to go on sale right now! Check out TJ Maxx, WalMart, Target, PBTeen, Bed Bath & Beyond, and IKEA for some fantastic lighting, decor, and deals. What's your favorite store for model shopping?

Ross has some of the BEST prices for home decor items!! Sometimes it's hard to get all the matchy bathroom accessories, but go back the next week to check if others came in ... Great for vases, frames, fake plants, etc.

I so wish we had Ross in the northeast! I've stopped in when in FL and you are so right. GREAT pieces.I always see something I want, but is too big to take home on the plane.

Valerie, just checked. They have a beautiful website gallery of home items, but no online orders. And now I'm in love with this lamp on there!

Claire, awww foiled! Well it was a good thought! I love that lamp, too!! I saw similar at TJ Maxx - more expensive typically than Ross. These were $50.

Pretty lamps!! I used the Wayfair image search tool and found a similar lamp that I might use for a model refresh I'm working on.
