This is funny and wrong at the same time, Donald Trump jacks up the rent on one of his New York apartments specifically to keep Arianna Huffington out.....
As long as whomever he did rent the unit to paid that amount, he is in the clear...unless there is a statute in that area that I am not aware of. I don't think disliking someone based on a making a career at bad mouthing you would be considered a fair housing violation. If she had applied for that unit at that rate and declined her even though she met all the criteria, then maybe. But if he jacked the rent up and got that rate from someone else, I highly doubt it.
