Lats week I shopped a competitor of ours. I was impressed how the leasing consultant used her Ipad while taking us on a tour. She could answer any question I had by simply looking at her Ipad.
I would love to know how people are utilizing Ipad's in the leasing and property management business. What app's do you use. What documents do you have on the Ipad to help with leasing and management?

With Gratitude,

I can see using it, while using a WiFi connection; to have applicants complete their application, to access public records to show local crime statistics, to have new residents establish services; and with the available readers and applications accept credit card payments.

If you are one of these IT types; what are the best practices for implementation? What are the pitfalls?

An article titled " iManage: iPad for Property Managers " in the August issue of JPM is one of the most recent overviews of where the industry currently stands with ipad use (although the information is mostly anecdotal - not a lot of hard data).

You need to watch the 'iMarketing' words...... There is a joke going around that Apple was experimenting with an Ipod Touch for kids and calling it the Itouch Kids....... Sounded too creepy, so it was abandoned.....

All RPM's and higher have ipads in our company. They can do anything but access RealPage/Onesite. I was just thinking yesterday as I was printing out yet another bid for budget meetings in a few weeks that it sure would be nice just to have the ipad with everything right there. I know I could use a thumb drive, but the pad would be more convenient.
