Craigslist is a major lead and lease producer throughout our portfolio. I am just wondering home many others are continuing to use Craigslist and what success you are having with your postings.
I have been using Craigslist for advertising rentals since 2008. It is still a valid lead producing source. I am in the Charlotte, NC market. Even with hundreds of ads posted and re-posted throughout the day, it is still worth the few minutes a day to post there.
Craigslist has improved their site enough where I haven't been "ghosted" for a long time. The search function for prospects is more user friendly. With the absorption of Postlets by Zillow, it will be even more important for me to use it.
In working with some of our clients where we've text-enabled their property phone number, I've been surprised and how many Craigslist inquires they get via text.
I'm curious if most communities that use Craigslist receive their inquiries mostly by email, phone calls, or text messages?
Yes, Craigslist is still a major lead source for my company, Mosaic Property Management. John Fabrega, thank you for the idea of combining our text service with Craigslist. I can't believe we didn't think to do this before!
