I recently penned a blog for the Pet-Inclusive Housing Initiative titled Helping Residents Become the Best Community-Friendly Pet Parents, where I talked about how rental housing operators can help their residents successfully manage having a pet in an apartment environment.
This seems to have resonated with many in the industry, and I'd love to continue the conversation here in MFI.
What types of things are you doing? This could encompass anything from events and guidelines to third-party training to changes in your overarching pet policies.
Are you seeing more and more renters with pets? What are some of the challenges and solutions you've implemented? What are some of the positive aspects of having responsible pet parents in your communities?
Would love to see your comments!
