For Community Managers and Service managers, collaboration and a clear understanding of their partner’s job and its challenges is key for making managing multifamily assets a success. Part of the challenge comes from the fact that Service Managers get promoted from within without a formal management and financial training.
The other side of the challenge is, you guessed it, basic formal maintenance training for Community Managers or the lack thereof. Collaboration between the apartment community managing partners is needed today more than ever, in the age of high customer expectations and instant gratification.
