Chris is a proven entrepreneurial leader with more than twenty four years of leadership experience, twenty two directly in the multifamily industry. Most recently he was a founding partner, principal and Vice President launching Pegasus Residential based in Alpharetta, Georgia. Pegasus rapidly achieved national recognition, growing to over 20,000 units operating in ten states, in five short years. He has launched, stabilized and improved operations in over ninety communities in his career through his hands on and “in the trenches” personal leadership style.
Chris has been a speaker on both local and national platforms largely due to his enthusiastic and passionate delivery method infused with a great deal of humor. Additionally, he has been a guest lecturer to The University of Georgia and Georgia Tech Residential Property Management programs for over ten years, and was also a guest speaker at Emory University in September 2014. His speaking topics have included personal accountability in the workplace, creating and maintaining enthusiastic company cultures, innovations in management techniques, creating sustainable performance in a recovering economy, and many more that have been tailored specifically to his audience and their business needs.
Over the last two decades, Chris has worked hand in hand with every client and community owner and has successfully outperformed the proforma and operational goals time and time again. He is proudly married to his husband, Thomas and lives in Atlanta, Georgia with their son Noah who was born in January 2014. Noah was the inspiration for the formation of ARKleadership in July 2014 after Chris sold his ownership of Pegasus Residential. He continues in the multifamily industry today as an operations consultant and speaker throughout the Southeast.
