Apartment sellers: “You should pay a super high price because the property is within walking distance to a grocery store”
Their property:
Guest InsiderI've tried getting some companies to come collect them. Some refuse, but i did have luck once. They took the good ones and left the broken ones behind. Last time I called them! Fortunately i have storage space. They work great for trashing out apartments, cleaning after a turn, and the residents borrow them to run groceries from the car to their apartment... but most I drive back to the store and leave them in their parking lot. I don't want too many and i don't want to overflow my dumpster.
Kathy ChaneyMy property is right next door to a Target and a block from WalMart. Once had 27 carts. Called both store managers. I know those carts cost at least $800 each. Told them come get them or they are going in my dumpster. Told several residents who were out of work to go to the stores, see if the would pay a "reward" for each returned cart. Or even take them all to a recycling dump for some cash. No takers. Still there after a week, and there were more than before. I don't even bother anymore. Resident leaves a basket, to the dumpster they go!
