Hello everyone!

I have recently graduated college, and right after graduation I landed a job as a commercial property manager for a small company. The owners and bookkeeper are not at all comfortable working with computers, much less new softwares. Consequently, they have used a pen and paper to keep track of all the records for old and new Tenants. There is no commercial property management software being used. I was able to show the Owners the necessity of acquiring such software, and they have authorized the implementation. Being that I am still pretty new at this, I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction, as to which software might be more user-friendly? Also, the properties are all shopping centers (I don't know if that makes a difference when choosing a software). I used Yardi at my previous job, but it was mainly to check to see which Tenant had paid rent. I never inputted any data, or printed reports, and etc. I would appreciate any help from professionals in this field. I thank you all for your time in advance.

Cost is going to be a factor I'm sure but here are my thoughts... if it is for commercial property I have heard that MRI is the leader in the commercial side in terms of accounting and tracking day to day tenant activity. Depending on how large you are and what the budget is there are smaller suites that may meet your needs.. Appfolio is smaller and could work... here are most of the players but not all do commercial

Real page - One Site
Yardi (as you know)
MRI
Property Solutions (Entrada is a free product but not sure about commercial and it's pretty new)
ApFolio
Resman - new

I'm sure others are around but these are the larger ones

might be worth sending some web inquires to specify what you need.

Hope this helps a bit!!
