Assistant managers are the backbone of all things accounting and administrative work on-site. I am curious - what are the qualities you look for when hiring or promoting someone to an assistant manager?
What I look for in an Assistant Manager is desire to succeed, accuracy most importantly, trustworthy since they are handling a great deal of money and posting, professional and yet sympathetic to the needs of their residents, educated in property management's legal issues; i.e., fair housing, forms, evictions and someone I can see running the property one day as I would...a multitasker with a good attitude...someone hungry to learn...
