I have made multiple posts revealing my experiences and need a fresh set of ideas to create a new summary paragraph for my resume. So far, this is what I have created and I am stuck:
Career Summary
Veteran property manager with several years’ experience with affordable tax credit and conventional multifamily housing communities primarily ranging in size between 60 and 250 units. Extensive experience in maintaining positive relationships with employees, residents, and contractors. Recently restored profitability to a financially troubled property by not accepting the status quo and changing how certain things were done. Leader recognized for outstanding performance, exceeding goals, and generating new revenues. Strong ability to communicate complex issues with others. Proven ability to meet resident’s needs, save costs and grow revenue without compromising the needs and legal responsibilities of ownership.
Johnny,
I think I would structure this info as Summary Of Qualifications with bullet points. Something like this:
Affordable Housing Tax Credit Specialist with more than X years experience
Restored profitability of 60-200 unit properties utilizing revenue management, bid process and strict budget adherence
Generated $x in new revenue
Resolved severe pest control issues
You get the picture. I don't think you need to list everything in the summary. Just highlight your experience. Have you tried it this way? Just another direction to try.
