The ability to relate to all different kinds of people is so important. When I was a LC, I leased butt loads of (sometimes crummy) apartments because by the end of the tour, the prospect and I had made friends.
great communicator, honesty, self confidence, knowlegable in the product, overcoming all objections ???????? these 5 qualities have helped me close time n time again.

It depends on the customer. No one in the world will connect with every customer. This is why leasing is the responsibility of everyone on the team. When we see a lack of connection for whatever reason, it's our job to jump in and make the difference. So the best quality is self confidence knowing that they are amazing just as they are. In addition, they should know that if they do not connect with someone we will have their back. This is a great combination for getting leases.
1) comes to work early and prepares - walks vacants etc.
2) great Customer Service.
3) dresses professionally.
4) attitude
5) wants to ask for the lease and close !
Inviting -be friendly and welcoming to all
Passionate about their product
Focus -give undivided attention to the applicant
Engagement -the ability to get the applicant to picture themselves living there
Follow up - keep that connection active after they leave and are considering their decision
