Dallas.
I had ONE call today and he didn’t want to leave his info. I was basically begging for a tour. Maybe it’s just Thanksgiving? I remember last year though I had like 15 move ins this month.
COVID-19 has taken its toll in central Austin, too. No traffic here, and the properties all around us that are panicking and offering up to 3 months free rent aren't getting any more traffic than we are, so it isn't price/specials driven here.
My community is HUD based and it sits in a borough of only 900 people....it is ALWAYS dead !!!! Very difficult getting people through the door (and being a tiny town we have near zero amenities). Though we normally have about 14 vacancies a year (we are very small here), I have had only 4 in 2020! Minimal move outs and no evicitions.

Now 88 percent. In lease up. All urban projects national dead why pay premium to live in the city for the restaurants and bars when you can’t use them, flight to the burbs.
