Product Recall Notifications?

Hi there - I came across this blurb over in the blog section about a recent water heater recall (appears to be predominantly for CA operators):

It got me thinking about product recalls or updates in multifamily and how they are communicated within/to the industry.

Are there any existing mechanisms or notification channels that recalls such as this are communicated through?

Do you have a quick way to determine if they apply to you or if you have exposure with impacted items?

Anyone out there who'd be willing to share your experience on this would be much appreciated!
