Should he .15-.19/cents a square foot for labor. .27-.33 for labor and material

How tall are the ceilings? Is there an attached garage?
San Jose labor is not TX or NC....
You’re looking at over $1 psf for the required licensed painter.

To your point Kelly, there are 15ft ceilings? - go up from traditional 8ft? ceilings in all other rooms than the living room. Are you saying $1 with or without paint? Thank you everyone for your input - please keep the comments coming - so helpful...

Ceiling height will add to the costs...vs say 8’ flat ceilings. Depends on the paint brand, sheen, product line...etc.
Like Using SW painters edge vs their Promar 400. Or using flat is less $$$ than eggshell or semi gloss
