Upgrade, Leopard Style Faux Wood Flooring....
Someone recently asked how much I pay for flooring. I told them I don’t know, not sure that I care. I told them to ask a different question, ask me how many call-backs I’ve had over the years... The answer is ZERO. Amanda Worth with Impact, worth every penny...
“not sure that I care”. Just so you are aware, managers have a budget that we have to operate within. We DO care about cost. While I understand your mentality that you pay for quality, keep in mind that managers don’t ACTUALLY call the shots. Corporate does. When they say get the price down, we need to get the price down.
Well, when I say I don’t care - they must be competitive. Generally, price differential is minimal - less than a percent. My time has a value, my people’s time is even more valuable.
Most of the time when the owner doesn’t want to spend money, that’s exactly what gets done. There is not problem with housing code just an unhappy tenant probably
What I love is that some douche will stand there and argue with you that a) it's the lighting b) the new stuff will "fade" to match the current flooring c) it's the exact same flooring, just a different batch, d) it matches, you are just blind and of course, the best one yet.... E) HE INSTALLED THE SAME THING IN A MILLION DOLLAR CONDO AND IT WAS TOTALLY FINE. Am I hitting on the highlights here?
That’s why you use a vendor that has your order history, I would also say it could be a dyelot issue but that even looks to be to far off for that but you never know. A lot of planks that were being made in China now are made in a non tariffed country or the U.S and the current colors while the “same” are definitely different and no way to carry and or get the same dyelot. Just my humble opinion.
