I wonder if the paintless dent removal that they use on cars would work for appliances.

David Troup you know what, that’s actually a genius suggestion! I’m going to find out tomorrow by calling a few places. Thank you!

I’ve seen these magnetic decorative panels for dishwashers, washers and dryers. I wonder if they have them for refrigerators? Or maybe something can be DIY’ed to make it work?

Vivienne Zobel, I’ve also seen videos showing attaching what looks like a glue stick along the dent and using that to pull the dent out. I’m sure YouTube is filled with dent removal videos for additional suggestions.

The inside panel is removable for most models and the door can be improved in many cases. Reinstalling or replacing the gaskets is the hardest part. But new doors are much less expensive than new appliances! Gecustomernet.com

unfortunately, if the panel is not replaceble then stainless steel will always show where it was repaired. some are replaceable and some are not. it would be nice if residents would take care of them but we know thats not the case.

If the dent is not to creased in the middle and not too big, try Dry Ice. I know it sounds crazy but I have used it many times on minor car dents. Take a piece of Dry Ice, wrapped a few times in a towel, and hold it to the dent. Again I know it sounds absolutely crazy, but it works on small car dents.

The most success I've had is using steel wool to retexture the metal and "hiding" small dents/dings. This doesn't remove the problem, instead, it is kind of a camouflage.

I've not used any of the dent removal kits (like others have shown) but will give it a shot upon the next opportunity. THANK YOU for the topic!
