I went through the Hurricane Ike insanity in Houston. As a tree care professional, my life was pretty much over for 8 months. I learned a lot from the experience, but I don't think most property managers are prepared to deal with the issues that they will face during the next one. Here's my question: COASTAL PROPERTY OWNERS, do you have a network of tree care companies, manpower and debris hauling equipment deep enough to clean up your entire portfolio when there be another hurricane in your region?

Could we set up a network every year to pre-assign disaster management duties in specific properties to specific crews as pre-determined rates? Seems like it'd make the process run a lot smoother. Give me your thoughts.
