What would you say are the biggest marketing & leasing challenges you are facing RIGHT NOW? I'd say in my markets it is my competitors are still discounting rates even though traffic and occupancy are both improving. What is your biggest challenge?
I agree with you, Mary!! I know of properties that are sitting at 93-100% occupancy in the NC market and are still offering concessions. They have raised their rents, but they don't know how to sell against their competition without a concession!! We have a whole generation of leasing folks that were 'raised' on concessions!
