Hi,

Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated. How can I market a rental business to the world and get the most value? I want to reach a broader area than is typically reached with a local realtor.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but the American Apartment Owners Association offers a properties for sale page that might be helpful to you. It is a national listing site directed at individuals in the multifamily industry (owners, investors, property managers); it will put you in front of the right audience.

We have a book entitled "Small Business Advisor" which dedicates an entire section to buying or selling a business. The book directs sellers to Business Brokers. In addition, they offer software solutions to determine a fair market value.
