I read an old article on this topic this morning and have talked about this sort of concept previously with colleagues (where demographic, transactional, and other types of data about residents could be used to determine how likely they are to renew a lease, skip out, etc.). Essentially, this could result in individual pricing.
It sounds very interesting, but not without immediate tactical concerns; fair housing issue? Customer perceptions & consequences thereof? Then of course are the more philosophical concerns; is it the right thing to do?
