Curious! Property managers: are you finding less applicants and moves ins/outs given COVID? Easy assumption to say yes, but would like to hear what you’re experiencing!
No! I;m in Buffalo, NY and my phone is ringing off the hook. I also manage a property in Youngstown, NY and people are calling there too. Lot's of people looking to move in. I have had no move outs though
I seem to have an influx of applicants and move ins at the moment! Did 4 move ins at the end of February, have 2 tomorrow, 2 Monday, and 3 Tuesday! Glad to fill my building but having a hard time keeping up from home.
Kristen Schultz Stansall, are you guys operating and differently as far as virtual versus face-to-face tours? We are in Broomfield and we are super slow.

Tabatha Nicole Fredianelli yep only doing FaceTime and virtual tours. My properties are in Cap Hill with no models so most prospects are used to not being able to see actual units, just videos. We have a YouTube account and upload vacant videos there.

We are in ND, MN, NE and IA are all of our markets have been very busy with new lease activity and renewal activity. We are blessed to see lower COVID activity than metro markets; although we have 3300 units in Minneapolis market which has seen higher COVID activity. We have been doing self guided tours, virtual tours and online application for the past five weeks. We are documenting Move In and Move Out conditions separate from residents and with discussion expectations in advance with all parties; this to has been very equitable to residents moving in or out.
Active senior property in Hurst, TX and we have about 1 or 2 calls per week and no tours since mid March. Move outs are low to normal but nobody wants to move in right now so they are extending leases or waiting to sell their houses. We have virtual tours but I like the facetime idea a lot. Thank you for the ideas.
Las Vegas/Henderson NV. We are slow. Still getting some, renting a few, losing some. But NOTHING compared to what we normally get. Have a lease-up too - maybe 1-3 traffic calls a day. But not a lot of new rentals. What's everyone doing to push traffic/rentals??
