Good morning all, do any of you have a outdoor swimming pool? Are you opening this season? We are in Illinois and are on stay at home order until May 30th, our owner delayed opening until June 15th, but we are still waiting for guidance from the health dept. Just wondering if anyone else has made a decision yet???
may consider an extra signed addendum with release of liability tied to covid-19. It's early and I don't have a copy but down here in GA some retailers opening up in the salon space (less then 6 ft to do business) have created this release of liability to be signed by clients prior to services.
We have been moving forward, filed for a permit and working with our pool company to have it open. However, I'm sure we will be limiting the amount of people and may have a sign up sheet for use this year. I'm in massachusetts and our governor hasn't extended the stay at home advisory past may 4th yet.
Our City has ours closed, when the City declares we can re-open, we still have to wait for our individual County to do the same, at that point our ownership will be making decisions. Things change so quickly with this virus, if you set policy today, the guidelines from City/County can easily change tomorrow.
In California near the beach 80+ degree weather. No pool per the CDC. The residents would love to be there. So would I. We are not going against the CDC.
We are in Wisconsin and on our stay at home order until 26 May. We normally don’t open our pool until after memorial day. We are basically going to wait and see.
In Texas, we keep ours ready year round. I have residents ready to jump in the second our stay is lifted! Could be as soon as next week but also as late as a May 15th right now?
