We had a resident ask to “borrow a treadmill” since the fitness center is closed- yes ma’am, we will gladly deliver it to your 3rd floor 1 bedroom apt (no elevator) and your neighbors will not mind at all

We had the same request.

We had someone ask today if they could rent a golf cart ????

Ours wanted one of the spin bikes.

I could see loaning out spin bikes as a huge feature.

Lol...all I've gotten was if they can used the free weights and kettle bells.

Missing in action ???? no one is fessing up

I let a resident borrow our free weights. He brought them back.

I’ve had that question dozens of times

We allowed residents to sign an equipment rental agreement for the spin bikes and loaned them out at the beginning of corona. My service tech and I delivered them to the units. We only had a few people ask to borrow them and honestly, it made a big impact on the way they view their experience with us. It really didn’t take that much effort. Although, treadmills would’ve been a no because they’re way too heavy.

A friend's gym actually let them borrow equipment so they wouldn't cancel their memberships. Which I thought was kind of neat. (not delivered - not an apartment)

We had a resident call and say she wanted reimbursement for having to purchase a treadmill since she could not use the on site gym. Funny thing, none of the office staff have ever seen her use the gym...
