Noise complaints, and shortened amenity hours!

Noise because people are home and people not wearing masks in common area.

Me not answering their calls at the office (the messages forward to me so I do return calls within an hour).

Noise and smoking.

They’re noticing apartments on our website for lower rates and better specials than what they got.

People not wearing masks in the elevators (I’m at a high rise) AND us requiring masks. Both groups are equally angry.

My package said delivered, but it’s not in my mailbox.

Maintenance is slow (we sent out multiple notices stating we could only do emergency orders, but of course no one reads them). Staff slow to respond (calls could only be forwarded to one phone while working remotely). Noise complaints.
I’ve been at 2 different buildings since Covid. At the luxury building I was at we had residents complain about other apartments being at lower rates and then because ours was a luxury building our occupancy just tanked. We had the residents that did stay trying to transfer to better units and get the rates reduced even lower thinking that theyre “helping us out”.
Then for those that were effected by Covid - upset about rent deferrals. Because rent was still due but they just pay over the course of the month.

Residents are being asked to pay the entire lease termination fee even though they are facing financial hardships.

Residents are being “forced” to wear masks when property teams are not.

I manage a senior property and their biggest complaint is they can’t come to the office/ community center and gossip with the ladies while having coffee. I love my residents. They keep me smiling.

Not accepting packages in the office. Opening the pool later in the year than normal. Of course we did just survive a Derecho, so there were also several days of asking when "we" were going to turn the power back on...

Office locked during operation hours (even though we are inside said office) and not enough pool furniture because we only kept what’s needed to avoid crowding and to promote social distancing. Oh. Plus the stipulations on pool guests to, again, avoid crowding and promote social distancing.

No one is watching their damned kids.
How the hell am I supposed to pay rent when I ain’t working and my unemployment was denied.

No parking and noise - especially when someone is working from home and kids are home above them .... and also parking

Pot and noisy neighbors. I think the pot smokers should share with the noisy neighbors AND the complainers so everyone can just calm right down.

Noise, the republicans not wearing masks, not social distancing, the homeless people in the park, we are not safe living here, the scooters are out of control, we are ripping our residents off, and on and on...all from ONE resident. Oh yes...and how the new place is going to be so much better since they have a waiting list to move there and that is the new waive of things to come.

Top two have to be by FAR noise complaints and damages/work orders.

1. DISPOSALS ????I guess you have never cooked at home this often because NO Linda an entire pot of noodles or rice or peeled potatoes or an entire chicken or legos or 6 lbs of grease can go down the disposal.
2. AC’s “It’s hot. Like....really hot and I have all my blinds open and keep my patio ajar for Mr Whiskers but I pay rent on time so I don’t think I should have to keep the blinds or patio closed to be comfortable.”
.....You’re used to being gone during the day, so now when the sun is the strongest you are home. And it’s Texas. It’s really hot.

Random requests or shite they’re just now noticing.
“I guess I never noticed but the color of paint in the bathroom is just slightly off, can I have it repainted”
“There’s a lot of rocks outside my door, can they be moved.”
“I have one loose tile in the shower it needs to be secured before it falls and I slip and die in the shower.”
“I was making something and spilled paint remover on the floor so that part of the floor needs to be replaced.”
“My kids ripped the closet doors off track and they need to be out back before they fall on them and my lawyer gets involved.”
“My neighbor is having too many guests. It’s Covid so you need to tell them to limit it to two a week.”
“You know the field across from us that isn’t owned or controlled by the property in any way shape or form, well people are just letting their dogs RUN off leash and it’s a safety hazard so a notice needs to go out.”
“I know we don’t have assigned parking but this large truck parks next to me which limits my visibility when getting into my car and that’s a safety hazard so you need to have designated truck parking.”
“Can I borrow a saw to cut the roots of a tree growing in my yard.” ???? No.
A very close second has to be the increase in crime/vandalism/domestic disputes. I’ve never had so many break ups, removal of roommates, bricks thrown at a car over a lovers quarrel, kids throwing rocks and sneaking into the pool etc.
I’m tired...........I want to go on vacay and never come back. ???? I’m a one person office and 90% of my day is this.

Masks- expectation that onsite teams can police and fully enforce required masks with populations of hundreds to over 1000 residents (signage is up, reminders go out etc)

1. We need to make the elevator larger to accommodate 6ft social distancing. 2. I can't find my package in the package room cause there are so many, it's defeating. Can you come find it for me...I'm just not feeling up to it. Hmm, can't pay rent, yet you receive packages on the daily then want the office people to come find them for you...nope!!

“I saw some of my neighbors outside walking their dog without a mask on, please address this” .....and by “no mask” she was referring to the dog

There a piece of avocado in my yard. My wife is immuno compromised.. what are you going to do about it

1. but she parked in my parkiing spot, she knows I always park here! - we dont have assigned parking ???? 2. Why are there so many kids making noise outside? - (multifaimly property for nearly 30 years.) 3. Should the lawncare guys be wearing facemasks and gloves? 4. My TV picture doesnt look rightm can you send maintenance to look at it? (really??) and my best #5: R: I cant pay my rent because of COVID-19, Me: did your company close or reduce hours due to COVID? R: No, I wasnt going to work and taking a risk. Me: so you voluntarily gave up you work/wages/job? R: aint taking no risks, you gonna work with me?

1. Why is my electric bill so high? It's never been this high before.
(5 people at home 24/7 due to Covid, it's 107 degrees in August in Texas, and you let your kids keep the patio door open when they play out there.)

they want hospital level sanitizers in every entry, elevator, common hall, common area along with free masks and toilet paper provided

Noise complaints and trash left in breezeways during non-valet hours.

The office is never open and maintenance is not being done.
