I am debating opening a consultant business for independent rental owners. I have over 20+ years in the industry and think my knowledge and experience would be beneficial. As an IRO would you be interested in this service? What would you like a consultant to hand for you (i.e. showing apts, leases, screen, bill paying, evictions, due diligence etc.)and what would you pay for these services? I am think an a la carte option and a monthly fee based on the size of the portfolio. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Personally this sounds like my dream job! However I am in the Dallas Texas market. Property management companies have this concept. They charge on a higher more full scale rate. They provide the same services, such as maintenance staff and full leasing office, ie: Greystar, AMLI etc.
Having a property consultant that provides this service sounds pretty cool. Property owners look for such companies to do these sort of things, collect rent and manage the property. Having an independent consultant to do these things for individual owner would be great.
