Hi,

I am conducting research into the real estate enterprise software space, particularly as it relates to property management. What property management software are you using and why? What are the pros/cons of each of the known vendors in this space?

Any input will be much appreciated!

I've used Onesite, Property Ware and Yardi. Out of all 3 Onesite continues to be my favorite Property Management Software hand down!
With Onesite it is very user friendly from the accounting side down to the leasing side, once you play around with it it is just SUPER easy and pretty self explanatory. The reports are so easy to understand and tweak to what you need which I really do like.
Property ware took me a while to really get. I wasn't a fan of the ledgers or the accounting prospect, and I REALLLLLLY hated the reports.
Yardi was a bit more difficult for me to grasp after being with Onesite for 2 years, however I know that the Yardi program we were using for my property (owned my US Residential) was tweaked for the company so I don't feel like I can give an honest accurate opinion on the program.
Onesite and Property Ware are both owned by Real Page which does have so many options and other programs that can be used with Onesite (Lease Star, Active Building) and that alone makes me always lean towards Onesite because there are so many add on's.

I ramble haha I hope this kind of helps.
