Experienced multifamily investment mentor / coach wanted

I've been doing smaller residential (1-4 units) investment in CO for the last six years and I'm looking to make the jump to commercial multifamily in the next six months. I've got a solid balance sheet, good income, and private investors to back me. What I lack is experience and connections in this new world, and I'm looking for an experienced guide who can help me learn the ropes. I'm interested in talking to anyone who has been a principal investor on multifamily deals, ideally in Dallas or other TX markets. I'm open to anywhere, though.

Compensation could be participation in deals, web development in trade (I'm a fulltime web consultant), or cash.

I’m sure you have already seemed some good feedback from this site, but another good place to network for something like this is going meeting people in person. Have you registered your profile with LinkedIn? I believe you will find some good groups there same as this site that could possibly help you network with other developers. However, to be effective you will need to complete a profile on both this site and on LinkedIn, because people are going to be hesitant to speak with you without knowing a bit about yourself.

Also, you are always welcome to come visit our offices and speak to a few of our developers. Sometimes the best way to network is face-to-face.
