Is there a reason why an apartment community would not give the resident a copy of there payment ledger if requested?

If there were a resident to ask for theirs, I'd give them a copy. It's all posted to their online portal anyway, so there's no reason not to!

Thank you! My thoughts exactly. I live in a place that is pretty low income these days. I had no choice. I lost everything in the Harvey storm. Starting over and having a hard time. I suspect they are stealing money if they will not give me a copy of my ledger. I cannot think of any other reason. Thanks for your response. Wish I lived where you work. Goes back to the old saying you get what you pay for. Horrible customer service.
