I'm the Executive Director of Resident Relief Foundation. I just wanted to post here about our rental assistance program. We are less than two years old and I have lofty goals to get to 100 residents helped this year. Our criteria is simple: Resident is going through a temporary, unexpected financial emergency that was outside of their control; has only 1 late payment BEFORE the financial crisis (after is not an issue); no lease violations; in the case of a job gap, there's a reasonable expectation of future income sufficient to continue paying rent on their own. We have no income limits and are a national program.
