FitzGerald is one of Chicago’s leading residential and commercial design firms. Our buildings combine striking variations on traditional styles with innovative uses of space to create architecture that works and conveys an enduring sense of place and
visual impact. Our work reflects the vitality and vision that have characterized Chicago architecture for a century and a half.
It is essential to keep in mind how the building will function for those who will live, work, or shop there. Experience has taught us that if what we do has great appeal to the ultimate occupants, we have done a good job for our client.
Creating superior buildings involves finding simultaneous solutions to many overlapping design problems – a challenge we welcome. At FitzGerald, we believe that a building that does not function well or that exceeds budget is a failure. That is why we work to keep the art and science of building in balance so that the building we create will be successful in every respect.
