Is there a way for apartment communities to make money with Groupon? Does anyone know of any management companies that are doing it? Any success stories?
The main concern I am hearing is that the discount would be too heavy, to make it a valuable source....and, are apartment hunters also daily deal users? Also, does it make the apartment community seem too desperate? -Matt
Pennysaverusa.com has launched a new program. SaverTime, which is similar to Groupon but more local. I am currently working with a couple of PM on developing a program for them. They are excited about the potent. If are interested in learning more and are in California contact me. [email protected]
There is a new company similar to Groupon that is in pre-launch mode now. The difference is that you can get 5% cash back in addition to the deals purchased. For example: if the management company signed up and then had the tenants sign up (those that wanted to) to get their daily email on discounts, the management company would get 5% cash back. If a vendor was signed up you could get 2% of the sale price in rebate. The vbottom line is that it is similar to groupon but with the 5% cash rebate. I use it personally. Since it is free to join, no one has anything to lose, but everything to gain. Click on the link below. they explain the program better than I do.
