Anyone else receive an invoice from "Apartment Connections?" It looks real but we have never "connected" with them and their web site looks sketchy. Anyone here of them?

No, sorry.... I think a call to the manager of the property to explain the invoice and a call to the vendor to figure out what they did and who authorized it.

As a site manager; If I could not speak to the purpose and validity of an invoice, I would be calling for answers.

Thanks, Johnny. I attached the invoice to the post (I hope/think) and you can look at it.
1) There is no property named as who is being billed!
2) There is no contact info for the vendor - just an address on the invoice.
I googled the vendor name and address and the google listing had a phone number. I called the number listed and it actually goes to a different vendor partner but unfortuntely there were no "live bodies" to answer. I don't know but it doesn't look right to me!
Best to you!

The invoice did not attach :(

If you want a 2nd opinion, you can email it to me at [email protected]; but it sounds about as kosher as a bacon cheeseburger with shrimp sauce.

I would send them Monopoly money with a letter asking for clarification of the invoice; just to &*&(*^ with them!

You can print your own! www.zieak.com/2008/08/19/print-your-own-monopoly-money/

We have a "vendor" who is not authorized that tries to scam apartment complexes. They call me and say "oh I got a call from your tech, remind me of his name?" Then someone else calls a few weeks later and asks for the tech by name to try and make me think it's legit. They call the maint tech and tell him the manager authorized some purchases, then they bill the corporate office and tell them the Maint tech authorized them. Sometimes they call the emergency pager or try and trick us into agreeing to try their products, and then sign us for a ridiculous subscription contract. They sell light bulbs or window cleaner for huge markups.

There is another one where they call saying they are going to send you your regular order of copier supplies; and then confirm the billing address. The issue is that if you lease your equipment; then these supplies are included (you may pay for shipping only) in your contract.
