Good afternoon, our company is researching industry practices in regards to working weekend hours. Are any of your organizations scheduling weekends in an "outside the box" way? Currently we have the standard Saturday and Sunday hours but are exploring making changes. Thanks in advance!

42% of leads across all of our clients come in outside of regular weekday office hours, so you’re missing business if you’re not open at those times.
One way to ease into it: Open on weekends by appointment only, then offer the ability for prospects to schedule their tour appointments online. There are a number of vendors that offer the online tour scheduling feature now.
We are open normal hours on Saturday from 9 to 6 and Sunday's noon to 5. It's not just about prospects but residents as well and their availability to contact us. We do have an office that starts at 10 on sundays but that's just to clear leads and paperwork before opening
We are Open for Business 7Days a Week Urbane Apartments, 8:00AM to 8:00PM Mon-Thu and 9:00AM-6:00PM Fri, Sat and Sun These have been our hours since we started our business in 2001, We are Open for Business when our competitors aren't. Our Prospects do OnLine Self Scheduling Tours
I believe and have believed for MANY YEARS our Industry is in need of a shift for week-end hours!!!
SEVERAL REASONS.
I Suggest:
1-5 'BOTH' Sat&Sun
OR
Sat 12-5 & Sun CLOSED
1. gives you more days with a full team...MORE Productive and Creates a culture of TEAM UNITY!!
2. Sustain our SALES/Leasing person(s)Positive Attitude
3. stay OPEN from 6-7pm for Residents ONLY...Monday thru Thursday...Resident appreciation and RETENTION!
We are closed on Sunday and open Saturdays 9-3 The office can be very busy or very slow. It's a hit-or-miss situation. Our VP of Property Management has decided to have the Assistant Managers, of all our properties, to be scheduled to work Saturdays. We will see how this works. As a Leasing Consultant, I prefer to work Saturdays. It's nice to have more quiet times with the residents and prospects, because of less people in the office.
Some of our smaller properties are only open on the weekends by appointment only.
I agree with Brandy! To reduce employee burn out, close your office on Sundays. This will give your employees a full day of rest and will make them more productive the following week!
