I've done all kinds of things, etched wine glasses, logo growler with pint glasses, a tile for your keys, camping mugs and beanie, water bottles and insulated shopping totes, doggie bags and collapsible bowl, custom hand made local cutting board with locally sourced wood and engraved. It's all relative to the property, branding and demographic. The more I can purchase locally the better as our clients really look for that.

Our property is located directly across from an HEB Grocery Store and we offer a foldable grocery cart on wheels and pack it with Simple Green cleaning supplies for quartz and granite countertops, stainless steel and wood cleaner.

We are a small property and can not afford to do etched glasses but we do make a basket full of energy snacks and ice cold water in te the fridge for move in day. We gift wrap a plunger with toilet paper for every bathroom and provide free pizza for our new Residents first night. A hand written note from our staff to make them feel welcome is what we are complimented the most on because the personal touch seems to be disappearing from our industry and it needs to be brought back. An apartment needs to feel like home and if that means you have to give a Resident a hug when they are having a bad day well just do it and they will never forget your complex.
