How did you handle the wrapping, did the residents wrap or office staff? Did you do it during specific hours? Was it a hit with residents, did you limit the number of gifts to be wrapped? I'm looking for ideas to do this for the holiday season.

I set up a wrapping station so Residents have everything they need to wrap their own gifts. 10 am-10 pm. We have a media room and I have Christmas music or a movie playing. Candy, coffee and hot chocolate.I have done it for two years and it has been a big hit.
Ours includes paper, tape, ribbon, name tags, bows, scissors, and ink pens. 24 hour access and they wrap their own gifts. I have been doing at my current community for 4 years. Residents love it. We start the Monday after Thanksgiving.

I’ve done it before; we had a wrapping station. All items needed for gift wrapping provided. The residents wrapped themselves and during office hours. It was an absolute hit, I had a coffee and cocoa bar and cookies as well.
We make a wrapping station available to the residents with day and evening hours. Several of our vendors sponsor the paper, tape, ribbon, bows and gift bags. The drop it off just before Thanksgiving and we keep the wrapping station open until the 23rd.
We have alao had a "Santas Workshop" for parents that may not have the time or skill to assemble larger toys. They can drop the gifts off and our skilled maintenance team would put it together for them. Its usually only a few bikes or tricycles but the residents really appreciate it.
