Attention Apartment Industry Managers, Maintenance and Owners:
NIBCO brand Pex Pipe is a common type of plumbing that is used in apartments.
We are finding 4 or more years after installation we are having an inordinate amount of leaks at some of our apartment communities. If you are have this same issue and you have NIBCO brand Pex Pipe, please inbox me.
Trying to find out if others are having these same issue with NIBCO brand Pex Pipe at your apartment communities. This is costing some of our owners thousands of dollars a month due to the water damage this is causing. Thanks in advance.
I am aware of the previous class action law suit but we did not qualify due to not having issues at that time.
Is the NIBCO pex that is bursting a pex A or pex B or some other kind of pex? My guess would be that it must be pex A since pex a has a lower bursting strength even though it is more expensive and used in commercial applications
