It’s a great product, you just need to make sure you are having regular pricing calls with an analyst so you are using it to the full potential!

From a leasing standpoint role play, role play, role play. If it doesn’t roll off the tongue it won’t work

I think the key to Yieldstar is teaching your team all about the heavy lifting that it does for them and how much their day to day insight can help the model to be stronger and work FOR them. Once you have that down, I've found teams embrace it because it really does give them leverage and a talking point with their prospects

Make sure your leasing agents take the training and practice utilizing it before working with prospects. It is a GREAT tool if used properly but so many leasing consultants struggle with it.

We did but no longer do. I hated it! Rates would drastically increase or decrease overnight and we are big in resident referrals so that hurt us

vacancy loss recovery, based on historic market data without having to remember trends yourself, residents have more lease term options. Con - harder to provide accurate information to prospects who have no idea what they want (or just don't want to tell you). Overall, I like having it.
