Hi All
It's been awhile. Here is my dilemma: I have been a licensed NJ Realtor since 2005. I put my license on hold for about a year and a half somewhere in between. Anyway, I have been working Full Time as a Realtor® and I would like to get back in to Multi Family Housing as in the Apartment Industry. I would love to earn my Certified Apartment Manager certificate. I have worked for less than a year back in 2010 as a Leasing Agent and a few months as a Property Manager for different complexes. I still have my Fair Housing of course since I am a Licensed NJ Realtor®.....I am being told many conflicting things. Some say I cannot get my C.A.M. even if I take the online course and the exam because I do not have 12 straight months of working in an apartment, even though I do have experience and also do Rentals (private) in my Real Estate career. What can I do? I really want to earn my C.A.M. but do not want to waste the money if they WILL NOT give me my certificate until I get 12 months of working in an apartment?????
